Could it be that you are familiar with this topic-especially with the great powers must keep an eye on SWR, but the big cables drag the SWR meter down from your crowded desktop. So why not show the SWR on the PC display?
The Wavenode WN-2D does everything. A small box of interface, which is connected to the USB interface of the PC, provides connections for 4 sensors up to a distance of 1.5 m (5 ft). These sensors are able to measure the SWR and power. The sensors are available for HF (incl. 6 m) and VHF/UHF. Standard sensors are usable up to 2000W, for HF is also available a special for power up to 8000W.
Including software for Windows ™ (XP, Vista, Win7 32/64 bit) shows the power forward and reverse as well as the SWR. Measurements are also possible for long periods. Ideal to document the characteristics of an antenna: you can plot the SWR on a certain range of frequencies.
A very nice feature is the acoustic warning for bad SWR, whose threshold value is adjustable. Useful for users with disabilities.
Sensors with RF.
This new sensor offers an additional output (BNC female). This output signal can be connected directly to an oscilloscope and allows to monitor the trnasmitted signal in realtime. This is very useful to monitor distortions etc.
