The Heil Proset Elite microphone headset is the Heil headset top. The Proset Elite offers wide and embossed paddles with removable cotton covers. These headphones offer comfortable use even after a long time. Audio output is optimized for voice transmission on amateur bands, ensuring excellent intelligibility. Like all "Proset" headphones incorporates a phase switch switch on a loudspeaker. The phase switch rotates the audio on one side of the 180 ° headset to give you a better and surprising ease of use, almost a spatial signal location and better separation from background noise.
Another innovation of the Proset Elite is represented by the new HC-6 Dynamic Microphone, Bob Heil has adopted this new radio response element that includes an audio equalizer for broadcasting (eg FT-2000, FT-950, IC- 7400, IC-756Pro etc.) so that a special capsule with reduced bandwidth (such as HC-4) is no longer required. The new HC-6 has a wide frequency response of approximately 100 to 12,500 Hz (-3dB) and is particularly suitable for SSB or AM and FM high fidelity. For contests or for DX operations, you can adjust the radio equalizer for a better "punch"
For older Icom radios that require a higher microphone level, the Proset Elite is also offered in the version with the electret "IC" microphone element. This element needs 5V power supply, normally available on Icom devices.
The Heil Proset Elite comes with a 180cm spiral cable headed with a 3.5mm mono jack for the microphone and a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. The 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is included. The Proset Elite requires an AD-1-xx adapter for your radio.
